In our role as supplier and value creation partner, we cover the entire value chain: from product development and prototyping through tool development to component production and assembly. 
The headquarters of the Adval Tech Group are in Switzerland. The Group operates eight production plants: in Switzerland, Germany, Hungary, China, Malaysia, Mexico, and Brazil. In Hungary, our primary focus is the production of metal and plastic components for the automotive industry.

We are looking for our site in Szekszárd, Hungary for the position Head Operation.

Feladatok:

The Head Operations is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient production processes both for metal and plastic components,  while meeting agreed targets for delivery time, quantity, quality, and cost. This role encompasses leadership of the production team, collaboration across key departments (SCM, Maintenance, Quality), and strategic and operational responsibility for production planning, execution, and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure adherence to production schedules in terms of delivery deadlines, volumes, quality, and costs.
  • Manage short-term changes in production requirements and adjust resources accordingly.
  • Organize and optimize the use of personnel, machines, tools, and materials based on productivity and deadlines.
  • Contribute to budget planning and monitor cost development.
  • Support the design and optimization of production systems and workflows.
  • Oversee product and process quality in production.
  • Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance activities with relevant departments.
  • Support the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in offer preparation and process design discussions.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop employees within the production area, both professionally and disciplinarily.

 

Elvárások

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Several years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role with personnel responsibility.
  • Proven expertise in production planning, shop floor management, and lean manufacturing.
  • Strong command of ERP systems (proAlpha) and MS Office tools.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes with primary focus on stamping and welding, deep knowledge of quality standards (e.g. IATF 16949).
  • Fluent in English, German beneficial.
