We are looking for a Supplier Quality Manager at our Szekszárd Site.
Tasks
SHORT DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for building and implementing the group-wide Supplier Quality Management (SQM) system across all Adval Tech manufacturing sites. The role establishes standards, processes, and governance to secure the supply chain, reduce quality risk, and ensure compliance with OEM requirements and certification standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and TISAX).
TASKS:
- Develop and implement group-wide SQM processes and standards like QAA (Quality Assurance Agreement), escalation model, supplier development process, audit program.
- Plan, execute, and follow up the annual supplier audit program based on VDA 6.3 (risk-based planning, on-site process audits, action tracking).
- Lead supplier complaint and escalation management: 8D methodology, CSL1/CSL2 containment actions, and on-site support at supplier facilities.
- Build and maintain the supplier risk assessment and performance measurement system (scorecards, KPIs, criticality matrix, supplier classification) .
- Establish group-wide supplier performance reporting structure and management reporting dashboards.
- Support new product development and sourcing projects: PPAP coordination, supplier readiness assessments, and supplier development activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, SCM, Quality, and Engineering to align on supplier quality topics and drive proactive risk mitigation.
- Drive rollout of group standards across all plant locations; coach and train local Quality and Purchasing teams.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably in the field of quality management).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management in the automotive industry.
- Proven practical knowledge of the Automotive Core Tool (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, 8D, SPC, MSA, and Control Plan).
- VDA 6.3 Certified Process Auditor (mandatory).
- IATF 16949 1st and/or 2nd party audit experience (strong advantage).
- Experience in supplier risk assessment & performance measurement (Scorecards, Risk matrix)
- Proven experience in conducting supplier process audits (VDA 6.3); able to plan, execute, and follow up audits independently across international supplier base.
FUNCTION-RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent English; German or further languages are an advantage.
- High willingness to travel internationally to all Adval Tech group locations.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience (Proalpha or equivalent).
- Experience with document management systems (Sharepoint, Q.wiki) is an advantage.
